Waking nightmare skyrim bug

I got what seems to be a bug with Waking Nightmare

Try dropping the torpor if you can. Use Unrelenting Force on him, or attack him until he becomes hostile, then sheath your weapon. (edited by Ottoman Hold).

On console, if you say all the dialog and ask about the miasma it will prevent the glitch.

From reading on this forum about another bug in Waking Nightmare where Erandur vanishes mid-quest, (sheesh! doesn't Bethesda believe in testing?) (oh right ...

Dialog is spoken from Erandur and once he is done speaking to them it says to kill Veren and Thorek, but they do not attack and do not get a marker above them.
